4M/8M/16M bit 2 channel mixing speech synthesis LSI with large scale P2ROM™
Description
ML2282□/ML2286□ series is a high-quality speech synthesis LSI with built-in large-capacity P2ROM™. The LSI, which includes an ADPCM2 decoder, 16-bit DAC, a low-pass filter, and a monaural speaker amplifier, incorporates the peripheral components necessary for speech output in a single chip. The LSI is provided with a variety of functions including 2-channel simultaneous playback, edited palyback, and bank switching.
By using P2ROM in the memory section, the trun-around time from order receiving to mass-production and shipment is reduced significantly and the mask cost is no longer necessary.
16M, 8M, and 4M, are made available in the lineup for each of the P2ROM version.
