Semiconductor Business Group Home > Integrated Circuits > Speech & Audio > Speech Synthesis LSIs > ML2280X Series
The ML2880X Series are speech synthesis LSIs that use P2ROM of 2M/4M/8M bits as a voice data storage memory. The ML2880X Series, which use a compact package of 30-pin SSOP, can be reduced in installation size to a half of the existing product equipped with P2ROM, gML2216h. The synthesis function can be performed easily by externally connecting CPU and a power amplifier. Voice data is written in Okifs specific built-in memory P2ROM during production test process, greatly reducing delivery turn-around time from order reception to mass-production and shipment compared to the existing products equipped with built-in mask ROM. As mask cost is no longer required, customerfs development cost is dramatically reduced.
