SOI-based Real-Time Clocks (RTC)
|
Real-time clocks
OKI offers a new family of ultra-low power
Real Time Clocks based
on SOI (*) technology. This technology allows very low power operation devices with optimized power consumption.
The ML9073 and ML9074 are real time clock LSIs optimized for low voltage and low current
consumption.
The time/date provides second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year
information. The clock operates in either 24-hour and 12-hour format. In
addition to its clock and calendar functions, the ML9073/ML9074 enables 30 seconds
adjustment, fixed period interrupt and start/stop functions.
All address and data are transferred serially through a 2-line (I2C) bus or 3-line bus.
See the chart for comparison of OKI´s new RTC family ML9073 and ML9074 with majorcompetitors, the OKI SOI advantage in power consumption is very attractive for your new design
It offers you a more than 1.5 fold longer battery life than conventional devices.
